All participants add their ideas, inspired by virtual events held around the world by local organizers in each city. The city with the most ideas will receive the award for the most creative city.
All students going to school, whether it being private or public.
The idea here is to generalize art therapy in schools, managed by professionals in the discipline. These professionals would meet the kids monthly but also upon need and use this art therapy approach leveraging creativity to better understand / communicate with kids. For example, in case of a conflict between two students at school, they wouldn’t be punished (hours of detention). In an art therapy session, they would be asked to 1/ draw the conflicting situation 2/ draw how they see its resolution 3/ together, take action and make their suggestion happen.
Students unlocking their creative potential, sustainably.
Art therapy professionals who would be recruited by schools (initially Art therapy interns)
Connect with the Art therapy schools and enroll their students as key ambassadors for this program - they would have the needed motivation and interest for the program as this would allow them to lock an internship experience, and why not a future job
Visit Art Therapy schools and discuss the idea of School internships > 4 weeks
Build a specific Art Therapy program, adapted to the Schools > 2 months
Visit Schools and suggest the Art Therapy program / Get at least 10 schools approvals : launch the program > 3 months
Make the needed follow up > Bi-monthly
Collect Feedback from the participating schools and Art therapists' > 2 weeks
Scale the program leveraging what worked and what didn't work > 6 months
Art therapy promotes healing in a positive and creative environment and this can be extremely beneficial in a School
Casablanca and Rabat, Morocco, where schools of art therapy are located
I have access to Art Therapy Professionals, as I have crossed some of them as part of my personal development curriculum. No technological means needed.
Once Schools will be convinced by the art therapists added value - ie in managing conflicts, in managing difficult students... (through Art therapy students as trainees which won't cost them much), they would enroll art therapy professionals in a Long term basis.
