All participants add their ideas, inspired by virtual events held around the world by local organizers in each city. The city with the most ideas will receive the award for the most creative city.
Learners
Using Google Earth to create virtual field trips. By creating a journey and waypoints from home to airport to destination airport. Then field trips around that country highlighting key torist and key culutral places. Students can vist these accessing websites as if they were in teh country. Could be done as a Team. Also students could do this as a way of getting to know the areas before physically going to the country. We have done this with our Iceland trips. You can build lessons around culture exploration, tourism impacts etc.
Cheap way to see a country, students enaged, numerous ways to build lessons around this.
