All participants add their ideas, inspired by virtual events held around the world by local organizers in each city. The city with the most ideas will receive the award for the most creative city.
Children would be the main beneficiaries.
Children are obtaining their education in a curriculum driven school environment where even art classes (if they have such) are largely prescribed with little room for freedom of expression. So my proposal would be to allow children to have school art sessions where they are free to utilise their imagination in a manner that is not limited to prescribed curriculum.
Creativity requires freedom and children should embrace their true talents and develop their imagination.
