All participants will add their ideas, inspired by virtual events held around the world by the local organizers of each city. The one with the most ideas will receive the award for the most creative city.
Trace-ability in big business social/ethical/ecological considerations. Need more visibility in when choosing products and services
Consumers – knowing they are buying a product or service that is within the economic/ecological boundaries.
Businesses – promoting corporate social responsibility and leading by example in industry. Maybe preference on gov contracts/media visibility/tax breaks etc.
In a similar vein to food hygiene certificates/EPC certificates, businesses are scored on their means to operate within the ‘doughnut’ model of economic/ecological sustainability. Consumers will easily be able to access and view business scores before choosing their goods/services.
Greater accountability and transparency for both consumer and business. More sustainably inclined business and greater CSR.
