All participants will add their ideas, inspired by virtual events held around the world by the local organizers of each city. The one with the most ideas will receive the award for the most creative city.
The problem that I would like to solve is, how citizens that are unable to work since they do not have access to technology or a stable internet connection, this deems impossible for them to work online. In these trying times many who cannot work online or do not have a job that would be able to take place online many are losing their jobs and income.
The people who will benefit from this idea are people who are not able to work through an online platform or do not have the resources to do so.
This idea will mainly focus on making sure that everyone is able to either have the resources they need to work online or the money they need to buy necessities during the lockdown period (in the case they can’t work online). Somethings that I would do in order to apply my idea would be, creating a fundraiser (Go fund me/back a buddy) that would contribute to most of the costs, another way I would find the funds is by approaching sponsors who would also help back the idea.
Once I had raised the funds, I would then move on to finding the supplies I would need, such as computers and mobile devices. When doing this I would also approach sponsors such as Microsoft to assist with technology, slowly but surely, I would start to assist as many people as possible with finding the resources they would need.
Overall, this project will help many families and small business overcome the sudden and devastating impact of coronavirus on the economy.
