All participants will add their ideas, inspired by virtual events held around the world by the local organizers of each city. The one with the most ideas will receive the award for the most creative city.
So it turns out that we are all under lockdown, and only certain occupations are allowed to work as they are vital for the current situation. The list incorporates: doctors, nurses, healthcare staff, supermarket cashiers etc. However, for every single one of them to carry on working, they need fuel - and I mean food. Farmers work tirelessly everyday so that we all get our basic necessities, which many people take for granted. Contrastingly, they are a vanishingly small quantity of farmers going to work due to this deadly pandemic. The rest suffer in isolation not being able to deliver the source of energy humanity needs the most in the current situation. Why is this? It turns out that they are not being properly recognised as key workers, and so supermarkets are equipped with empty shelves, soon reflecting a massive world food shortage - possibly leading to a famine, akin to that of the 2 World Wars. Hungry children and starvation were only seen in the poorest of countries, and in a few months it will be worldwide. There is one way out of this...
Take a look at India, who just started allowing agricultural workers to start working as food is vital for every living organism. Every affected country must also follow suit.
Every farmer and every person whose occupation is in the agricultural field must be highly recognised as a Key Worker. Public Awareness must be raised internationally regarding this so that this important message, that Farmers are vital, is significantly emphasised. This is because we need them, right here and right now, toiling and harvesting in the fields to grow crops and support humanity. The Government must also provide sufficient PPE for them to work safely. If a farmer is ill, they must self-isolate and be temporarily replaced by another farmer until complete recovery. To motivate those in an agricultural occupation, a weekly clapping session must be dedicated to them, just like the UK claps for saying thanks to NHS Staff.
Because the world is not ready to face another mass starvation, we must implement this today, right here and right now.
