Australian Primary School Children between the ages of 5-10.
A workshop class run in primary schools, where old, unused or unwanted goods from the local community are used in the workshop by children, to come up with creative new uses, or ideas for them. They may come up with practical new items for their classroom, or creative pieces of art for display, or they may even find a way to fix it.
This teaches children to understand the value of items, and understand how the circular economy can work. It also encourages them to think creatively about different uses and different ways to look at something, rather than purely only the purpose it was built for.
