Tous les participants ajoutent leurs idées, inspirées par des événements virtuels organisés dans le monde entier par des organisateurs locaux dans chaque ville. La ville qui aura le plus d'idées recevra le prix de la ville la plus créative.
What it is.
It is a People-centric, Process-oriented, Technology-enabled, and Knowledge-driven eco-system where ideas and insights can connect on a digital platform in a virtual environment and where creativity finds space for the following:
The Theme of My Idea:
From Knowledge is Power to Knowledge Anywhere is Power Everywhere.
What makes my Smart Decision-Support Grid SDG-smart?
The connection of People to People, Process to Process, Data to Data, Document to Document, Applications to Applications, and Infrastructure to Infrastructure makes it ‘Smart’.
How it works:
The proposed Idea is an integrated interactive system comprising the following four components:
People:
People include stakeholders, participants, and beneficiaries all across the globe who would do the following:
Process:
The Process involves the following features:
Responsibility of organisations:
Each organisation would have to take the following actions:
Technology:
Information:
Information would be the lifeline of the Smart Decision-support Grid. Information would constitute the user-contributed knowledge, insights, and ideas to create the progressive content pool. This would be contained in logically organised and labelled containers and comprise the following types of content:
Areas where it can be applied:
Direct Benefit:
Indirect Benefit:
The four categories of primary resource components vital for the fructification of the proposed idea are:
Mindset – Growth Mindset as against Fixed Mindset
Skillset – Creative Skill (Design Thinking), Innovative Skill (Doing differently), Leadership Skill (Inspiring
with Empathy), Digital Skills (Software Application Development, Data Management)
Toolset – Digital Tools (Hardware, Software, User end Devices, Network Connectivity Infrastructure)
Dataset – The set of Structured, Semi-structured, and unstructured data-
1) captured through user input, curated, and used as a training dataset for AI/ML algorithm
2) Processed and sorted data output for consumption of Insight seekers
In this Mission, the main resource is the huge reservoir of experiential knowledge within the broad spectrum across all domains-Government functionaries and departments, Policy Planners, Academia, Industry, Social Organisations, Executives, and Groundworkers.
To start with the pilot phase, the resource pool of People, Infrastructure, and facilities and the knowledge banks of Organisations and Institutions with which I am associated as an Academic Counsellor, Advisor, Educator/Trainer shall be utilized.

My Idea is a MISSION - Virtual Innovation Engine to empower potential - an expansive Programme with endless possibilities to explore Latent Creativity, Uncloset Experiences, Unravel Stories, Untwist Emotions, and Unleash Possibilities, Unstereotype characters, and Unbox potential.
Rather than a One-tine Open-and-Shut project, this idea, if implemented, will be the onset of a journey towards a legacy in learning, thinking, and acting.
Uniqueness in the Selection of the Problem:
Out of a total of 17 UNITED NATIONS Sustainable Development Goals, Goal No.17 (Partnerships for the Goals) has been identified as the most critical Goal and chosen as the focus of my idea. Participation is the vital connecting string of collaborative innovation to achieve all the 16 Sustainable Development Goals in the form of People-to-people, Process-to process, Data-to Data, Document-to document connect. (This has been depicted pictorially in the diagram uploaded during the IDEATION Phase).
Uniqueness in the Underlying Belief System:
Creativity is Borderless and Non-linear.
Creativity is Individual, Innovation is Collaborative.
A culture of Creativity is to be Built-in and not Bolt-on.
Every entity on this planet is a Knowledge Node.
Everybody has the power to be one who spreads light.
Knowledge Anywhere is Power Everywhere. (This has been depicted pictorially in the diagram uploaded in IDEATION Phase).
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
The Team is smarter than any individual member.
Uniqueness in the Approach:
Think Big, Start Small, Scale Fast
Uniqueness in the Philosophy:
Purity of Intention, Sincerity of Purpose, Simplicity in the Formulation of the MOTTO:
A, B, C of the Smart Decision-support Grid (SDG) Mission is
Always Be Creative
All Become Collaborative
Uniqueness in the Consideration of the Features of Smart Decision-support Grid (SDG):
Smart Decision-support Grid (SDG) is envisaged-
To be a People-Centric, Process-Oriented, Technology-Enabled, Information driven system for effective management and administration of all projects under various goals by all participants.
To be a Virtual Innovation Engine on a Seamless digital platform for cross-domain experiential knowledge exchange through a guided journey.
To provide End-to-End visibility for the single version of the truth through a flow of information from source to decision point. (This has been depicted pictorially in the diagram uploaded in the IDEATION Phase).
To provide On-demand Insights anytime anywhere to transform how the human society learns, thinks, and acts.
To help in informed, timely, and quality decision-making and thereby prompt action for problem-solving through a holistic view considering various aspects e.g. Technical, Educational, Administrative, Managerial, Financial, Commercial, Environmental, Legal, Operational, Social, Statutory, Safety, Welfare within the domain of specific goals and across the domains of all the 16 goals.
To facilitate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for partnership in Sustainable Development Goals through accessibility to all persons of all levels from various fields, companies, organizations, Industries, Institutions, businesses, professions, Citizens with different roles, Job areas, Job functions, and experience levels.
The vital components of the Smart Decision-support Grid (SDG) are envisaged as follows:
INPUT:
Problem database:
Solution database:
This would capture the details of the solutions to the problems e.g. actions taken, the process followed resources used (Man, Material, Money, Information, Skills, Document, Support systems needed, People-to-people, Process-to process, Data-to Data, Document-to document Interdependencies to solve a particular problem.
PROCESS
Base Level processing:
Defining Containers-segregated, categorized and labelled based on contextual multiple criteria and metrics
Sorting
Identifying context-specific input data, directing and placing the data in relevant Containers for query-based access to users.
The output of Base Level processing
Logically and contextually segregated array of containers with individual datasets for a variety and types of data captured as input. These data can be accessed and consumed for ready reference.
Advanced Level Processing:
The segregated data would be used as input to Advanced Analytics System to generate visual dashboards which would be accessible on-demand.
These datasets would also be used as the ‘training dataset’ for Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
Systems for obtaining more sophisticated output for decision support e.g suggestions, alternative scenarios, alarming situation alerts, etc.
This would also become a source of Authentic Research Data in the Primary Research Space.

The pilot project is envisaged to scale up to fulfill the mission with progressive participation in the Partnership Goal No.17 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. An economic plan to maintain the initiative implies the running cost for operation.
This idea is in line with the UN mission of serving the world population. This is envisaged to be a Non-profit contributory model. The participating organizations involved in the partnership with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals would be beneficiaries of the Smart Decision-support Grid (SDG). As the participants derive value from the benefit of being a part of the Smart Decision-support Grid (SDG), it is logical to assume that they would accordingly collaborate to contribute appropriately to maintain the initiative over time.
