Primary school kids (5 years to 9 years)
For one week a month the classroom is transformed into the environment of what you are learning about. When the class is learning about fairy tales, turn your classroom into a castle. When you're learning about animals, turn your classroom into a jungle.
this is the start of the theme and the children will look forward to what the classroom will look like and they will talk about it. Students will also look forward to new subjects.
Students in later years could come up with ideas of how the classroom could look and help decorate it.
It becomes a great visual to share with parents.
fun, enjoyment and engagement
Los of ideas and material but this could be stored for next year, re-use and recycle. Most schools do this. Recycled materials could be used.
We are a university and have a access to academics, lecturers and students to help bring ideas forward. We also have many business connections which we can partner up with if required.
I would lead/coordinate. My name is Karl McCormack. I am a Senior Lecturer in The Business School and a Pedagogic Innovator at Staffordshire University in the UK.
Short term: share locally as an idea and collate pictures of results
Long term: share these with other schools, nationally and globally
Creating a sense of awe, great way to introduce new topics.
Local then National

We also have the latest technology including 3d printers, CAD machines and specialist software. Faculties such as business, arts, mechanical engineering, architecture, bio science etc are able to come together to help bring an idea forward.
This would be funded by school funds and parental gifting
