Todos los participantes añaden sus ideas, inspirados en eventos virtuales realizados en todo el mundo por los organizadores locales de cada ciudad. La ciudad con más ideas recibirá el premio a la ciudad más creativa.
The users are the local and wider community who will benefit from access to the knowledge and expertise in the university. The community will benefit by reduction in social problems and by less mis-information. The university community will benefit from sharing and developing their knowledge through discussion with the wider community
The idea is to develop a new online search 'portal' (similar to Google) that enables communities to ask questions about social problems, eg, How can i encourage my 14 year old to stay on at college? How can i feed my family both sustainably and within my budget? How can my family improve its health? Is the covid vaccine safe? Responses are then provided by links to university research and experts.
The main benefit is that high-quality research and expertise is being used by local communities to help solve social problems. This mitigates against 'fake' news and mis-information.
