For kids to understand and be interested in the learning process, teachers and parents must use a variety of tools, objects, and resources to come up with different teaching aid when teaching. Teachers and students will need to employ various resources such as boxes, papers, images, colors to build various aids for visual learning, as both will be needed to think thus promoting creativity and making learning much more engaging and interesting in schools than the prevailing model of just talking. Students who see information are more likely to understand it better and recall it later.
Students will be able to study complicated concepts in a simpler manner thanks to visual learning.
Learners will be more engaged and motivated to do better if they watch engaging videos with interesting graphics. Because teachers and students will be able to engage while conducting different activities, visual learning will make communication faster and easier. Students will be able to visualize objects more quickly, which will help them store information for longer. Visual learning is enjoyable, it improves concentration, and students will look forward to class since they can't afford to miss out on those fascinating films, images, and activities.
In order for this idea to be implemented it requires smart phones, tablets or computers connected to good internet and also papers, boxes and colored pens. To help get resources, Parents, students’ teachers and the government will contribute towards acquiring the said items.
Yes we have a team of four young people who completed school. As a team our role is to research and contribute towards content creation for the students and also help with organizing the needed resources.
The idea will be implemented in three phases, and it will be three months for each phase and at the end of each phase students will be required to present different things which they learnt.
The uniqueness of the idea is that student will also be engaged in coming up with content and students will be able to debate and agree on which content should be accepted in order to allow creativity.
The idea can be implemented in Zambian schools and anywhere like homes because learning just requires internet and educative, fun and informative content.
Yes, we have the knowledge and technological means to make the idea true because we use these devices on a daily basis. We can pick things like Emojis, take professional pictures or make videos that can best describe what is in a particular lesson.
This idea doesn't require a lot of finances especially when gadgets are bought. All it needs is commitment and good maintenance from both teachers and students.
